The latest alpha should solve it. I’ve tired to reproduce this kind of trouble and wasn’t successful since the lastest release.

btw.: where did you get your theme?

That makes sense to me. It’s my karma :-)

If you need some additional Nameserver (for free), please let me know. It would be a honor for us helping you and your business!

Update: After disabling the SPAM-Protection event-plugin, everything works fine. Maybe it’s because im running the server in an intranet?!

I will try to run more tests :-)

Any suggestion would be very nice!

Comments not working (v0.8-alpha4)

Hello,

maybe it’s me, my server, my karma, but in the latest snapshot the comment function doesn’t work. No matter posting as registered user or guest, after saving a comment, a blank page is shown.

The server isn’t reporting an error so I have no clue were to search for a solution.

I’ve tried to debug your scripts and it seems in file serendipity_config.inc.php on line 141

include_once(S9Y_INCLUDE_PATH . 'include/functions.inc.php');

is never reached. The script seems to exit this file before calling the needed include() or it dies somewhere I cannot figure out.

That is really strange, I could only imagine it to be a MacOS problem. I don’t think so, because everything went fine until s9y v. 0.8 Can you debug if the 'functions.inc.php' is included? Trace the steps that serendipity_config.inc.php does and see if some directories (S9Y_INCLUDE_PATH, ...) are s...

Yes, I have the "include" directory and all files needed seem to be in there. The file "functions.inc.php" is present. I’ve tried to hard-link this file by hacking your "serendipity_config.inc.php" as I did with "functions_config.inc.php", because of the "...

A stupid suggestion / question?!

Hello :D I don’t really know whether this is the right board but I have a suggestion for upcoming releases of s9y... Maybe it would be a great deal to do the session management inside the database like phpbb2 ( http://www.phpbb.com ) does. Not only because of potential security advantages, but for a...

I double-checked all PHP (4 & 5) related session settings and now they aren’t my problem anymore. Now I’m having trouble continuing ’cause the server is logging the following error ... PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function serendipity_userLoggedIn() in /Volumes/PLADDE/WEBSTAR/BLOG/sv9/sere...

I still get the iFrame error, too. Alongs with some others.
