Ok, mischief managed.

I had been adjusting group memberships and had clicked on another group to add my admin user to it, forgetting to hold down Ctrl to make it additive. This meant (I think) that my user level instantly went to that of the group I was adding which was non-admin. So the program ...

Same thing happened to me too. I was setting up groups and categories and bang suddenly all I have is the minimal content as described by jskywalker.

Any ideas why?
