Re: Performance issue, but only when accessing "blog root"

Hi Garvin,
thanks for your help...!

I have to admitt that the issue is fixed. ;-)
Indeed one indexes (unfortunately the one on timestamps of the blog entry table) was not correctly set.
Once after an update I lost all indexes (why ever). I re-added them manually and it looks like I made a mistake ...

Re: Performance issue, but only when accessing "blog root"

Hello,
even after
- moving all sidebar plugins to be hidden
- moving all event plugins to be inactive
- switching the tamplate to bulletproof
the result is the same.
the root link takes 8 sec, any deeplink is at something like 3 sec...

Or is "hidden" not enought of the sidebar plugins? Do I need to ...

Performance issue, but only when accessing "blog root"

Hi all,
I have a performance issue with my Serendipity, but only when opening the "blog root":
Opening
http://aggrozollhaus.de/blog/index.php
takes 8 seconds,
while opening any "sub page" is pretty fast - even if the dataset is nearly the same.

Re: MD5 hash issue, but only for some users

Hi Garvin,
thanks for the fast reply!

I tried it on a clean browser (Safari after resetting the browser): no success.
I can change my password and login with the new one without issues.
If I change the password of the user I still get the same error message.

To exclude theoretical causes:
Same ...

MD5 hash issue, but only for some users

Hi all,
I have an issue with serendipity
(2nd time in 5 years, which is a pretty good result, thanks to the developers!):

It's about the error message:
You can no longer login with an old-style MD5 hash to prevent MD5-Hostage abuse. Please ask the Administrator to set you a new password.
which ...

OK, thank you. I added the Code you posted. I have extra output not only at the Admin-Interface but also on the Blog itself. Within the Admin Interface the lugins use up to 5700kb then I get an PHP error.
When I click the Poll "Archives" Link it counts up to 5876kb, then I get the Fatal Error.

I am still wondering why the Poll plugin shows a Geotag memory error...
Except this combination all plugins worked without any problems so far.
I have quite some plugins running. Just let me know what I can do to get closer to the real problem (delete plugins etc.).

My current plugins:

I can't delete the directories, no idea why, I will contact the support and post here as soon as I have the plugin directory issue fixed.
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes I run several other plugins, but:
everything seems to work fine except the combination of Geotag and Poll.
If I install other Plugins like GMap additionally to Polls I don't have memory errors. Furthermore Geotag and Poll work fine together except for the Poll ...

Geotag / Poll Fatal error: Allowed memory size

I use the Poll plugin (currently V2.08 ) for more than a year now - and it runs fine as long as the Geotag event-plugin (currently 1.13) is not installed.
As soon as I install the Geotag plugin the "Archive" link of the Poll sidebar-module is not working anymore.
I don't really understand the ...
