I think that feedburner will work for me right now. It polls every 30 minutes and redirects the users to feedburner instead of nickel and diming MySQL usage every 2 ...

I installed feedburner flare which doesnt look like that I want as it just adds a feed to the bottom of each entry... but how does somebody use it??? Was there something else you are talking about?

I have removed the syndication links from the sidebar.

The problem is that people are still using the feed links and extrapolating the feeds.

In order to conserve the MySQL query hits per day I want to completely disable feeds from my blog.

How can I accomplish this?

Is there a conversion tool to move from MySql to Sqlite?
