Hi -

Any news on whether a fix was applied yet to get the WP importer to point to the correct database?

TIA

It looks as thought here was some work done on the WP import file in a5, but it didn't solve the problem I am having.

Scrollbar styling is non-standard CSS and, to my knowledge, only available in IE.

Hi Garvin - I had been using the WP config entries when reporting the error above. I did notice one problem with what I was entering: the table_prefix was incorrect. I changed that and got a little further. But now I get the following error: Import failed: INSERT INTO serendipity_entries (title,isdr...

Well, you need to fill into the fields the username, password, host etc. for the MySQL database to your Wordpress installation...so that Serendipity can create a connection to that Database. I've done that. It gives me an error. Do I enter "localhost" for the host? If not, what? Which use...

The last reply was from me (sorry, didn't log in first).

I'm not able to grok exactly what's to go in the fields for import. I looked at the source file, but it doesn't give me any clues.

Help?

Trench - Could you explain what you entered into the "database host" field? I entered "localhost" - as my wp database is installed on the same server as my s9y test blog. s9y's WP import tool errors with msg: Import failed: COULDNT_COULDNT_SELECT_USER_INFO

Thanks.

Where is the WordPress to s9y convertor at?

Just curious how the development of the WordPress to s9y convertor is coming along? I would really like to give s9y a try, but need to be able to convert content I already have in WordPress. I have a few plugins I've put together for WP and would be porting those to s9y as well.

Yes. I can't paste into the textarea. It's some sort of Javascript security dealio, I believe. Saw it before when using Mozilla.

Copy as little over from the default as possible I see your point. But if I want to make a significantly different theme than the ones which are available, I will need to modify most files, i.e.: layout.php, style.css, etc. Plus, I'll need to make changes to the images. This is why I copied default...

Every theme has its own layout.php which does the whole layout on its own. Just to clarify: only the "default" theme in the distribution has a layout.php . All other themes makes use of that file. It can be copied into the directory of the theme you are working with and then mdofied there...

Is there a phpXref or similar?

Has anyone put together a phpXref or similar set of documentation for s9y yet?

Ok Garvin. Maybe I'll work on the implementation. I am new to looking into s9y - but as I grok the code better, maybe I can contribute.

Is there a document or form entry which describes the architecture of s9y?

Add new WikiWord page to the Wikilinks file

Another piece to fully integrate the WikiText plugin would be to have the Edit Page know that this new entry is being created after clicking on a WikiWord. During saving the new entry, the new WikiWord could be added to the Wikilines file - or perhaps better to a table in the db.

Clicking on WikiWord should open the local page

More WikiText plugin ideas/requests: It seems s9y could recognize when a link on a page has been created by the WikiText plugin and when it is clicked, open up that single page. s9y already does the checking (or I should say the WikiText plugin?). I could include the /archives/ directory in the &quo...
