Re: HTTP Auth, howto?

That was the problem, I've read about it. Just didn't recognize the problem  Thanx Garvin!

HTTP Auth, howto?

Looks like I can't figure this out on my own: How to install and configure the http auth plugin? I tried installing just the plugin, but that will lock me out of the blog. Probably because my htpasswd are not set. I tried generating a htpasswd and add the auth block to my htaccess. Didn't work out :...

Re: iPhone Plugin

That was pretty easy to miss, suprisingly all threads mentioning the plugin manage to avoid the keyword iphone  (not anymore thanks to this thread :) ) I've installed the plugin and while it does seem ok I do agree with you: it's missing a button to show the website in it's normal layout. wpt...

Re: iPhone Plugin

I'm considering picking this one up. There is a nice wordpress plugin called wptouch (see http://www.bravenewcode.com/wptouch/ ) and I think it would be a nice option for s9y to offer such a view. Already had a smalltalk with yellowled about it, but we haven't reached a starting point. Any more inpu...

Re: feeds results in 500 error

I think I broke something ;) Now when trying to call any feed at http://rote-couch.com/ there's an (nasty) sql error messages instead of the feed. I installed the propertiers for categories plugin and uninstalled it. But the options (like hide from rss) are still available in the category admin pane...

feeds results in 500 error

Hi, I'm helping a friend with his blog (on the technical side). Now I'm having a problem that I never had in any other s9y installation. Trying to access feeds results in 500 errors. It used to work though! I'm pretty sure it's a timeout or the silly provider (1und1) killing it for memory/cpu usage....

Actually this is much easier than I thought. It's all done by adjusting the theme! I did add it to my Bulletproof Installation and it worked (for most parts) right away after adding a few classes. Can be seen here: http://www.loben.org/ (sorry, german blog, just click an entry and highlight some ent...

enhanced comment functionality

Hi, I really like that! http://bueltge.de/erweiterung-der-kommentarfunktion/862/ (german link - sorry. Just highlight some text in the entry and press the 'antworten' button to see the effect) I know it's jQuery, but maybe it would be a nice option? I guess it can't be done in an plugin, it's in the...

download manager - memory

Hi, Could it be, that the download manager plugin is quite a memory user? I'm trying to add a 3.5MB download to it (which works), but as soon as someone tries to download it, my server will throw a 500 at me. It's some 1&1 webspace with 40M memory_limit, shouldn't that be enough? Anyone with exp...

@Garvin: I've found the perfect excuse for using the snow effect. It's an online advent calendar! ;-) see http://advent.ormus.info/

Kommtare abonnieren - potentielle Abmahnfalle!

Got it :-D For the record, you can put a file called wlwmanifest.xml into your blog root with the following content <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <manifest xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/wlw/manifest/weblog"> <options> <requiresHtmlTitles>No</requiresHtml...

Sorry for digging up this old thread... Grischa, didn't you fix the encoding of html entities for the title of entries published via Live Writer? Somehow it doesn't work for me, the entities are converted, but not the way I would expect them to... Very strange. Example: http://www.ormus.info/archive...
