Thanks mate! Disabling the blogglist.de filter worked indeed. Maybe this is something for the future, because its a bit shitty that the whole working of your blog is depending from an external site. But i am glad that its fixed now, because first i thaught that it had something to do with me using t...

Connection refusedConnection refused

This comes whenever somybody tries to comment on a post, or when someone uses the contactform.
You can trie it for your self at jeflog.nl.
Comment and there you go: Connection refusedConnection refused.

Also, i'm wondering wether it is possible to use javascript in an entry.

Clueless

Hi guys, here is my thing. I always used the s9y shoutbox plugin but i've had it with the spam it got. So i looked for another shoutbox, hosted externally (did this on purpose so i didn't have to worry about those fckin spam measurements no more). I found one, and now i have put in in an iframe in t...

Hi, Well i finally solved the issue. It turned out that the problem was caused by the Serendipity lang_dutch file. I edited that file some time ago and apparently something went wrong there. So i just downloaded the original file from Sourceforge and edited it with Notepad+. Now everything works fin...

Does it has to be an .tpl file or can it also be any other file like .css or .inc.php?

Well, I edited the file with NotePad+, and uploaded it with FTP (binary). But still in IE the newline-sign appears.
You can check it for yourself. http://www.jeflog.nl/serendipity/templa ... /index.tpl is correct.

This is how it looks in the editor:

As you can see in UTF-8.
So i have no clue what to do.

BTW I really appreciate your help solving this somewhat "silly" problem.

I removed the linebreaks, but still it occurs. If we look to the source (in IE), we see this: http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/4448/naamloos2ct.jpg The newline-sign causes the break. Firefox ignores it, IE turnes it into a break. So i think the only way to solve it is be removing {$raw_data}, or s...

Well I changed it, but the fault still occures. But what I don't seem to get is why it happened all a sudden. First I never had the problem. Does it maybe has something to do with the thing raw_data fetches?

Sure,
The url is http://www.jeflog.nl/serendipity/.
The unwanted break occurs at the bottom of the page. I know its just a small thing but it annoys me. Firefox displays it correctly, but IE doesnt.

{$raw_data}

Hey guys, I noticed that since a week or something the {$raw_data} string below the footer in my index.tpl file caused an unwanted break/hard enter in my layout. I moved the {$raw_data} thing to the sidebar.tpl because i thought it may be important and there its invisible. Now im wondering why it di...
