Poll scripts
Has anyone experimented with adding a php poll (other than the polls plugin)?
If so, were you successful, and if you were successful, would you share how you did it?
Thanks

Possible fix
We were having the same problem but found a possible solution. When we set up the user account we neglected to enter an e-mail address. Once we gave the account an e-mail address the problem went away.

Possible to deactivate a user?
Is it possible to deactivate a user, making them invisible in the author list sidebar, without deleting their account? We have some authors who haven't written for us in a while and so we don't want them showing up in our authors sidebar for now. They might be doing some postings in the future, so ...

I'm not sure if these are feature requests or template changes.

I'm so accustomed to Spartacus, I'm not sure how to update a plugin by hand. I uploaded the serendipity_event_bbcode.php and the lang_en.inc.php files to the serendipity_event_bbcode, but I'm not sure what to do next to get the system to recognize them and give me the radio or checkbox to change the ...
