This is actually a bug report.

I've been trying to find out why serendipity_xmlrpc isn't working. I ran tcpdump on my system and watched the transaction, turns out there is an error being generated by the xmlrpc parser: 2003-10-06 13:44:26.288852 66.77.29.177.http > 12.247.242.45.3667 P1:f0(e9) k 29 win d2(DF)E<8A><99>@@N<81>BM-P...

Whoops..

Zempt says:
"Error! Invalid XML {<methodResponse> not found)

wbloggar doesn't give a detailed error.

Zempt is specifically for Moveable Type weblogs. wbloggar is for just about everything.

I'm running the Oct3 build of S9y.

Serendipity attempts to trackback any URL you make in an entry Yea, thats a great feature, however, when you want to specifically ping a location to let them know something has been posted, there is no way to do that. I found this: http://kalsey.com/tools/trackback/ But its a pretty poor substitute...

Anyone have XMLRPC working?

Has anyone had any luck with getting serendipity_xmlrpc.php to work? I've tried Zempt, and wbloggar, and neither can parse serendipity. The features say supports MT, and Blogger xml, however, I've never gotten any other tool to work either blogger, blogman, mozblog, etc. etc..

Pings?

Does serendipity do any pinging? I'd like to ping a regional blog aggregator when I post. Am I missing the setting or is this not implemented yet?
Thnx.

Mine does this as well, I don't think this is a bug, but a feature.

Changing this: case 'en': $loc = setlocale(LC_ALL, 'en_US', 'en_EN', 'en', 'us'); $out = '%s about%s'; break; to: case 'en': $loc = setlocale(LC_ALL, 'en'); $out = '%s about%s'; break; Makes comments work. Just FYI if your having this problem.

If you are using the built-in file manager, after you choose the image you want, simply choose "I want to display it as a link to this url", this will make the thumbnail go to the full size version.

I'm working on a modification that uses Overlib to show the larger image.

CSS Cleanup.

I ran the default css file through some validators, and later TopStyle's analyzer. It found all sorts of stuff that may cause incompatibilites. I'm working on a general clean and will submit it once I'm done. In the meantime you can view the error report here: http://www.gammaworld.org/s.html Is the...
