That is not odd actually, that is the location where the convert binary resides on most standard ImageMagick installations.

What he basically wants is a plugin which enables a user to enter his/her "current mood" and "current music"(what he is listening to) while posting each entry and display them next to each entry. Its a common Livejournal feature.

The problem is the path you have mentioned to the logo, in layout.php, make sure you have something like "/path/to/image" and not "path/to/image" (notice the forward slash at the beginning).

Garv, How would I do this? I tried a couple of methods but couldn't quite figure it out.

1. Create a folder called serendipity_plugin_pluginname in the plugins/ folder.
2. Create a file called serendipity_plugin_pluginname.php within the folder you created in Step 1.
3. Add this code to the file you created in Step 2.

You can try the Shared Installation setup, but be warned that this is still very experimental and will get better and easier-to-use in future versions, currently recommended only to advanced users who have good knowledge of Apache virtual hosting setups.

You'll have to either edit layout.php for that or use the 'embed' configuration for s9y, find more details here

Look in templates/default/layout.php for

// Welcome screen or whatever
default:
serendipity_printEntries(serendipity_fetchEntries(null, true, 15));

Change the '15' in the above line to the number of entries you wish to show on the front page.
