No, it's a nice idea, Darryl! But... Am I the only one that spots a close resemblance to the Ubuntu logo in it?
yes it's similiar, but I would also think that Joomla's logo is just as similiar if not more so, since they are recognizably based on humans.

What about instead of just the two pieces in the middle you extend it to 3 or 4? That would lose the yin yang element. But still embody teamwork, communication, etc.

That design is much much better! I think it would work better without the arrows. The center design by itself suggests working together, communication, teamwork, etc. The symbol for infinity is also in there, which suggests continuous growth and maturity. The arrows are just fluff. Also I think that...

My own personal opinion... The new site looks much better than the old one. The new logo is entirely too busy. A logo should be something simple that people will instantly recognize as associated with Serendipity. Take a look at wordpress.org. A "W" enclosed in a circle. Everyone knows tha...

Great colors, very unusual, makes you think of toons. Gotta love the eyes.

Good work.

BTW, I love the Chuck Norris Facts block...

My personal favorite is:

America didn't drop the bomb on Hiroshima or Nagasaki...Chuck Norris jumped out of a plane and punched the ground.

I do wish that I had some small amount of design ability or even creativity. I see something like this and just shake my head wondering how people can come up with these designs...and make them work.

You may want to take a look at the adsense plugins that are available for Wordpress (sorry no link, check codex.wordpress.org). There is one that follows all of Google's rules (as far as I can tell) and seems to work quite well, from the feedback that has been generated. Those plugins may even be ab...

If you or anybody else could recommend a text editor for Windows that automatically saves with UNIX line-breaks I would be appreciative. I used many different text editors over the years on DOS, Windows, and Linux. For windows I would suggest either UltraEdit or EditPad Pro. Both are feature rich, ...

As someone who lives in Metairie, Louisiana (a suburb of New Orleans for those who don't know), I don't really understand or see the immediate need that non-profits have for a simple web presence. Most of them already have their own web presence. However... If the matter is indeed urgent, I can easi...
