Upgrader not called in deployment setup

I use shared installation for my friends and manually copy the files over upon each upgrade. Whilst I was upgrading from v1.1.3 to v1.3.1, however, I did not see Upgrader, and the version number remained as v1.1.3. This is what I did (I'm under the freshly unzipped directory). chmod 777 /var/www/vho...

Hiding serendipity_entry_body at extended mode

I am trying to hide the main body when the post is extended. So at entries.tpl of the respective theme, I did: {if not $entry.is_extended} <div class="serendipity_entry_body"> {$entry.body} </div> {/if} Is this an elegant way to do this? I don't want to break anything... Thanks! :)

The simplified logo from snafu does work as infinity symbol, but IMHO it does no longer propagate as an Atom. It is not really recognizable, and would again lead people into confusion. Which is why I think David's current logo is better, because it IS recognizable. Everyone see's it's an atom. Why ...

I love the arrows. I think they are ingenious. But I dislike the atom and the words inside. I think a simple "S9Y" (blue? or perhaps a third colour) that fills up the centre space should suffice. The design of the atom and the words are very culture-oriented -- especially the atom, literal...

Could someone give me some pointers on this one? Or where else do I need to check, etc.

Thanks in advance. :)

Forgive me for pulling this thread back up again. I followed through the corrections on v0.9.1. I think there are two places to correct? one for gregorian, the other for jalili. After correcting both, the calendar displays the date accurately; but the date of the post itself is still displaye...

Using "enter" as first line of extended body

Please excuse me if this had already been reported. I am using v0.9.1; my browser is IE6. When I use the "enter" key as the first line of the extended body, the "enter" key would go into effect, but disappear from the extended body field when I save the post. So if I want an empt...

Date format in theme?

Hiya. I am trying to write a template (just experimenting with things). I have noticed that s9y seems to define the date format in the lang files. Is there any way I can override the definition through a template? Or is modification of the lang files the only way?

Thanks for helping out! :-)

When the URL is exactly the same (in my case, without the "www.") as the URL configured, the PNG files disappear after the page is done loading. When the URLs are different, the javascript does not load.

I think I will disable the plugin for now. Thank you for the speedy reply. :-)

I am sorry to dig up such an old thread, but I think this may be the same issue as to what I am going through. My browser is IE6. I just installed v0.9.1 (under PHP 4.4.1). The transparent PNG files would display as it load -- only to disappear completely after the page is done loading. I am not sur...
