Re: Query Error on RSS Feed

Great. I've been moved to a server with mysql 5.0.67 and php 4.4.1 and I'm getting this... Query failed: <pre>SELECT e.id, e.title, e.timestamp, e.comments, e.exflag, e.authorid, e.trackbacks, e.isdraft, e.allow_comments, e.last_modified, a.realname AS author, a.username AS loginname, a.email FROM s...

Re: Query Error on RSS Feed

Never mind. Thanks to the incompetence of my hosting company they're going to have to move me back to the old server.
*sigh*
Gotta find a different host.

Re: Query Error on RSS Feed

I went the upgrade route and that's not only been a whole ton of fun (not) but now I've got a slightly different error happening when I enable that plugin. Query failed: <pre>SELECT e.id, e.title, e.timestamp, e.comments, e.exflag, e.authorid, e.trackbacks, e.isdraft, e.allow_comments, e.last_modifi...

Re: Query Error on RSS Feed

I've done that but they aren't the most responsive in the world. I don't know what reasons they've got for keeping 4.0 on.

Re: Query Error on RSS Feed

Does anyone know if it's possible to easily get an older version of the plugin? It used to work on my server and I don't know that I need the latest.
I probably burned myself with a blind upgrade. Most of the time that works fine with s9y. :-(

Re: Query Error on RSS Feed

I'm running into a very similar issue with the latest version of the plugin. I hadn't been paying attention to my feed for some time so I don't know if it broke during an upgrade or at some other time. I haven't deleted any table entries. I'm a total sql noob so I'm not sure how best to go about deb...

Any chance of getting this fix added to the repository? The default encoding for s96 is UTF8 and but the plugin needs tweaking to get it to work apparently.
I just had to make this fix locally to get the plugin to work with Zoundry and WLW

Turns out it was a routing problem on my hosts end. They were finally able to fix it and s9y is humming along now.
Thanks for your assistance Garvin.

I wish I could change that one setting and have s9y be "fixed". It appears that they've got a general routing problem that started this past Friday when an upstream provider went dark. btw, is the following normal? I get 0 bytes when I change the source server to s9y Trying to open URL pac...

Thanks Garvin.

Based on that, I'm guessing that the server can't get to netmirror.org. s9y reports the following:

Trying to open URL package_event_en.xml...

Can you suggest a way to find out what site is causing the problem? If I tell them that some plugin is having trouble getting out to the internet I strongly suspect they'll just come back and ask me which one.

what's the easiest way to get you a list of plugins? I've had the same time out problem over the last three days. I can't even get a list of updated plugins without it timing out .
