Re: Contact form responses line breaking with = symbol

Thanks Ian I must spent half an hour or so searching before posting and didn't come across the topic you had previously responded to! Very useful info. I previously had all form responses come in to a gmail address that had various forwarding options set and have recently changed this so the respons...

Contact form responses line breaking with = symbol

Hi Garvin, Yellowled, Don it seems like a long time since I've posted on here - good to see you're all still active. I've a problem on client's contact form which I've not been able to get to the bottom of. When they receive a contact form response it arrives formatted like this: User IP-a= ddress: ...

Re: Password protecting contact form

Hi YL

Code: Select all

$plugin_contactform_name
returned 'Contact Form' no matter which iteration of the form I was using, however I was able to use

Code: Select all

{if $head_title == 'My other Form'}
which did the trick.

thanks again

Password protecting contact form

Hi guys I'm wondering if it would be possible to password protect a second iteration of the contact form so that only registered users could access it. If that's not possible, alternatively would it be possible to password protect the form using .htpasswd/.htaccess with mod rewrite enabled. If neith...

Re: Can I remove dategroups from bulletproof?

Hi guys since you asked YL :-) This seems like a very reasonable change to me. One of the other things I often do, particularly when making a commercial site, is remove the date altogether. I've thought to make it a configurable option myself but usually just hide it with CSS. Build this option into...

Re: New Template Download Page

Hi if the download page is hosted and moderated on s9y.org then I'm all for it, otherwise I'm completely against the idea. I'm happy to host my own templates, let people comment and criticise them and download them. I'm also happy to host the s9y-bulletproof.com site - and any coloursets and templat...

Hey YL great job - and amazed you've got the time at yuletide :-) They look fine - and identical - in FF 2.0.0.20 and Safari 3.1.2 mac. I too would like to see the removal of the inline code for images as I'm always either having to remove it myself or amend the image insertion code for sites where ...

Hi
do you need plugin? You can just restyle the blockquote in your template's style.css file and make it look pretty much anyway you want.

Hi Rob thanks for taking the time to take a look at this. :-) For me - and fortunately my client on this occasion - this isn't a big deal, as I said, he removed it from the database table. However for a more casual user I think it's something that should be addressed. Your suggestion about modifying...

Hi Rob the contact page link was originally generated in the sidebar static pages navigation from the list of available plugins shown after clicking the 'other pages' tab. ie: Select the plugin you want to include as link in the staticpages navigation. The following plugins can be included in the st...

Hi Garvin I mean, as long as contact form is installed (and EXACTLY the instance you previously used, not a newly installed one after it), visit the staticpage management tab for sidebar plugins, and there you should be able to dsiable and enable the contactform. This is exactly what I did but the c...

Hi Garvin I've tried searching for words that appear on 3, 4 & 5 pages and nothing! MySql info as follows: > The MySQL Admin tool says mySQL Version: 5.0.51b-community-nt via TCP/IP > > the staticpage db has an index called staticentry_idx it is set to kind=FULLTEXT and contains the headline and...
