Hi Carl I suppose I was thinking of an 'assign category icons' plug-in for when they're an integral part of the theme. Could be a spartacus thing maybe if we had a whole library of them? Hi Lordcoffee I'll also make a few category Icons that fit to the design. For Audio, Computer, Mac, Xp, Web, Phot...

Hi Lord Coffee love the theme design - and the emoticons! It looks great on your site but less impressive on Carl's as you've got the category icons the theme relies on. Are you bundling the icons in the zip? And Carl - is it possible to include category icons for the theme to use by default? It's g...

Hi Costa

well done! great effort for your first theme - the first of many I hope. I noticed one or two problems with the theme on Carl's site but nothing serious.

Hi Costa I think it's a really neat theme. I favour fixed width templates myself and think your blog looks great and the use of transparency in the header makes the large image an integral part of the page rather than just a header. I agree the gradient could be a little more subtle but it's not imp...

Thanks Garvin it's a shame my searches only bring up the right results when I search for the right thing! I've removed the files/folder no problem. Is there some way I could have changed the folder permissions recursively so that I could have deleted the folder and contents all at once instead of fi...

Removing a theme

Hi on my themes site, themes.daves.me.uk, I've inadvertently loaded a theme through spatacus which now appears in the template chooser dropdown. As the site is a showcase for my own themes I'd like to delete this additional theme from my templates directory but I can't, I don't have permission! Is t...

Glad to see nothing bad here about my theme :-D I'd like to have seen a few more entries to the competition but hey, never mind. Besides I think Carl and Garvin have done a great job. For myself, I'm pleased to have made a contribution - especially as a couple of months ago CSS meant nothing more to...

When you've made your theme you just need to upload it to your templates directory to install it. It will then appear in the list of styles when you go to your admin and click on manage styles.

Hi Garvin & Jude

am I right in assuming I shouldn't have used the ampersand in the file name?

Hi Donlau - glad to see the theme in use on your site - great background image too.

And I love the photos of 'Super Dog' - though he would have benefitted from putting his pants on for the shot where he's sat down! ;)

thanks for the feedback
