I've noticed on one of my sites that the multilingual plugin doesn't seem to be working with the html metatags plugin. Changing the meta tags in a post automatically changes them for all languages. I've always been a big fan of taking the legacy templates, updating them to work with the new config screen, and merging colorsets into a single theme. It's all thanks to Garvin and that nifty code that lets you create extra navbars. I just named each of the three parts differently so users can still drag sidebar items to whichever part they want to use.

It doesn't take long to port a basic template, this particular theme took a little longer because it has some odd little things in it that needed to be thought about. I'm sure people who use this template will have many things they'll want to change, but I'll wait for comments before I do any more ...

The serendipity directory has been overhauled, it isn't a directory anymore, well actually the old directory pages are still there but they're now just static html pages. I don't plan to update these too often because I was getting several hundred spammers per day trying to get listed ...

Ah, that makes sense, and is probably something I should remember, it's embarrassing to forget so much. The good news is that the brain issues seem to be stable for now, the memories are still gone, but I can start to make new memories.

I've found a curious problem with s9y v1.3.1 when I put html comments for Internet Explorer into index.tpl of any theme, I get a white screen and serendipity refuses to render the page.

The html comment is this;
