Hej JrPod, I had just two days ago almost the same problem. It occured in my case when I tried to migrate serendipity to another server. I just uploaded the serendipity-folder to the server. Before I created the tables, the blog looked like this. And as it seems to me, maybe you haven't installed th...

Hi pgup, is that, because you want to install serendipity? Actually you shouldn't need to change anything. You only need to create a new database, which is very easy using phpMyAdmin. Just go to phpMyAdmins start-page and under "create a new database" you type in the name you wish to have ...

design fails

Hej, I just installed serendipity on a webprovider's webspace, after having tested and customized it on a local system. But there is a problem with permissions - that's what I guess - on the webserver. Because if you have a look at the web page now (http://www.deutschland.se), there is no design at ...

swedish-language bug?

Hi everyone, Maybe I discovered a bug. I'm running version 0.9-beta2 and if I choose the swedish as language days and months aren't shown in swedish but in serbian. I discovered the reason: in the swedish language-file (serendipity\lang\serendipity_lang_se.inc.php) the value for DATE_LOCALES is &quo...

Re: change order of articles

But this might not be necessary, maybe it helps if you just set the amount of entries per page to "1", and then you only see one article on the pag elisting... Hi Garvin, thanks for your reply. I tested it with one entry per page, but it doesn't actually look as nice as I wanted it to be....

change order of articles

Hi everyone, thanks Garvin for your help. I have another question. I would like the calendar to show future events/articles (they should ) but they shouldn't be displayed on top of the frontpage. On top of the frontpage I would like to have the article/event of today's day or if there isn't one to b...

Hi everyone, I would like to know, before asking for a new plugin: Is there a plugin which lists recent added articles on a sidebar or even - which would be even better for me, which I can somehow include in the frontpage? And second, I would use the calendar as an event-preview, which means I'd lik...

swedish language file - days

Hi, we just set up the 0.9-beta2-Version with the swedish-language file. But there ist a problem with the days which are shown above each entry - these days aren't shown in swedish, but some other (slavish) language. We would like to help and add the swedish words, but these variables aren't in the ...

0.9-beta1 templates-directory

hi there, before installing the 0.9-beta1-version, on the pre-installation-check, he told me that the directory called /serendipity/templates_c/ is not writeable. Looking at the file-system I have seen, there is only a directory called /serendipity/templates . That's a bug, I guess. So I just rename...
