OK, I'll go check... or let him rather.
Thanks!

Re: serendipity error...
Yes, but the odd thing is that nothing has changed for months except that the website owner has added photo's to his site. He has been posting photo's every now and then since november 2010. There has never been a problem. Where does this error all of a sudden come from? Any idea what could have cha...

Re: Entries being bombarded by unwanted comments
Thanks,
I'll look into it. I already had installed Spam Protector plugin (is that what you mean by the 'spamblock plugin'?), but now I've added Spamblock (Bayes). Let's see what happens.

Entries being bombarded by unwanted comments
Hi there, Does anyone have experience with entries being bombarded by comments? No doubt it is some sort of program sending nonsense to those entries on my website for which I allow comments (at least, I can't imagine people actually typing all these messages just to annoy me (although the writer(s)...

Re: Keeping one entry at top of list of entries
Thanks so much for thinking along! That is exactly it! At first I was confused since the sticky post also appears in the recent entries plugin (which I don't want), but when you publish new entries afterwards (and after resetting the dates of the already published entries) the sticky post title will...

Re: Keeping one entry at top of list of entries
Thanks for the suggestion, but indeed this seems to become quite complex for only a few lines of text. I have been experimenting with your suggested code, but it didn't seem to work (I won't deny it is possible I did something wrong, but I checked everything several times...). I also tried the categ...

Re: Keeping one entry at top of list of entries
Hi guys, thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately, Ian, (as I also replied in a different topic ;)), my programming skills are merely quite basic. So where can I place your code (if it is the proper code in the first place)? And YL, I'm not sure what you mean by: should't it suffice to not disp...

Re: Removing page counter below entries
Ah yes, thank you for your quick reply, Ian. I was thinking it had to be something like that. Unfortunately :( , my programming skills are only quite basic, I'm afraid. I believe I have found the pagination section in the entries.tpl, but now I'm not sure where I have to copy/paste your code: {if $f...

Keeping one entry at top of list of entries
Hi there! On one of my websites I use one page to publish different texts as a sort of portfolio. Is it possible to keep one entry (the 'introduction' to the portfolio) at the top without having to reset the date each time I add a new entry to the page AND without this 'introductory entry' appearing...

Removing page counter below entries
Hi there! I've built my website(s) with Serendipity. Generally I only have one entry on several pages, except for one. This single page I use to publish articles every now and then. Now, below the bottom entry on a page there is a counter displaying number of pages and entries (for example, 'page 1 ...

customizing contactform
Hi there, There are three things I want to change in the standard contactform as I use it in my website. I managed to make one change: I wanted to remove the field where the visitor can enter a website url. I did this by deleting the lines: <tr> <td class="serendipity_commentsLabel"><label...

Re: Aligning template to the left of the screen
Many thanks for the info. It is just something I was thinking about whether it was possible in the first place and whether it would look good or not. I may use it. Or not. Who knows .
Thanks again, and until next time!
Rogier.
