Auto-removal of invalid trackbacks (from own blog)?
Hi s9y-folks! some last time long ago I bothered you with questions about mass-removal of old posts. Well, this one is solved and I keep deleting my personal past. ;) Now I got quite some trackbacks from my own blog or even the old address of my own blog. But more and more of these articles have gon...

Hi Garvin,
DrNI
I could have guessed that. Did it again after login and of course it worked. Thanks for your help.garvinhicking wrote: Which s9y version? Also, are you logged in before you call the PHP script? It needs authentication.

Re: Batch-deleting Posts
Hi Garvin et al, it's deletion day again, but somehow this doesn't work any more: <?php include 'serendipity_config.inc.php'; serendipity_deleteEntry(4); serendipity_deleteEntry(8); serendipity_deleteEntry(15); ... Nothing happens, the log remains silent, except for a nice 200 OK line in the access ...

Re: Facebook's Open Graph Protocol?
Please checkout the serendipity_event_facebook plugin; this one provides the og: metadata... Garvin, how stupid of me to overlook this plugin! Next time I should search for "facebook" in the plugin page. This plugin does exactly the thing I thought it should do. Well, the back-posting of ...

Facebook's Open Graph Protocol?
Dear S9Y professionals, I was wondering whether there is a possibility to have og meta data created for posts in a s9y-based blog. The Findmore plugin puts nice like-buttons at the end of each post and with some tweaking with the template I really like it. But it would be quite cool if Facebook cold...

Re: Performance issue
Hi I just noticed I never reported on the outcome of this thing. Well, the performance issue just went away one day. I had installed eaccelerator, it was operational but not accelerating at all. Then it just worked. I asked the owner of the server what he had done and he said "nothing" and...

Hi folks, do you know this feeling... when your past keeps haunting you like a ghost? I want do delete some old posts, identified by their post number. Is there a way to do this automatically? I know how to use Unix commands and the cmd line mysql client, if that should be needed. Feel free t...

Re: Performance issue
What kind of server are you running? Already calling your main URL (that only redirects to /s9y) takes very long. So this leads me to believe that not s9y is slow, but your server is. If you're on a shared webhost, ask the provider what load the server is running; maybe other customers on the same ...

Re: Performance issue
There are 5 redirects I know, the redirects are an unresolved issue, I have to find out why the static page navigation doesn't load the stuff from the correct domain. I'll find out. But Firebug has a nice display showing the loading time for each element and it turns out the redirects take a few ms...

Hi all, a very long time ago I asked how to move s9y to a new server. What Garvin had posted back then is what worked out for me today. (http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15993) I also solved the blank page issue by updating to the latest full release (http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?f...

Moving old installation to new installation accross servers.
Hi there, I have an old version of S9Y running on one server. I want to move the blog including all posts and settings to a new server on which I want to run the latest S9Y. What is the best procedure to do this, given I have full access (root permissions) on both machines? Thanks for your assistanc...

Re: PHPSESSID (Semi-Bug)
This would be great if it can be incorporated into s9y itself.... I think it could solve a lot of issues people report with more than a single s9y installation - myself included! I think that if S9Y uses cookies otherwise, it always stores them together with the path to the installation. At ...

PHPSESSID (Semi-Bug)
Hi there, I've been running S9Y for quite a while. Recently I successfully updated my two blogs. I found out that in recent versions of S9Y, confusing things happen as soon as you have two blogs on one Internet domain: depending on which blog I visit first, the language of the second blog's controls...
