Serendipity Forums

Hey everyone,

just a quick heads-up: the moderators of the s9y forum have decided to ”retire” a few rarely used subforums. Here's which ones and why:

• Showcase – rarely used and a popular target for spam; unfortunately, we don't think it will actually reduce forum spam, but it's one less forum to moderate
• supersized.org – the service does not exist anymore; we don't want to lead people on to believe that it does
• Upcoming Serendipity features – rarely used since 2.0 was released

All three forums are in “locked” status which means you will no longer be able to create new threads or posts in them, but they will be kept around for future reference and documentation.

Edit: Also, the subsection (or whatever it's called in phpBB) that (incidentally) contains these subforums has been renamed to “Archive”.
