Is there a simpler way to add links to the side bar than the link list plugin?

Probably the most flexible way is using a HTML nugget, I guess. Not sure if that's actually easier since I don't know what's hard or complicated about the link list plugin.

Not hard, but somewhat frustrating as I tend to make a lot of mistakes using XML. WOuld be nice just to be able to paste a link in a form and click save.
