Newcomer here:

My blogs, which are in Spanish, have problems showing non-english characters (á, ñ etc). They appear as ??. Does anyone know how I can solve this? Thanks

What is your encoding style set in Serendipity "general settings" and in your database "storage engine" ?
Is that a new installation with current release install on which system, database etc?
Best at all to start with - is using UTF-8 encoding overall!
