I know this was the wrong thread asking for this, but Dons post http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?f=4& ... #p10433084 and (~all~) follow up answers until my question point to the official staticpage plugin.

We also had this for the same: http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?f=3& ... ilit=draft

On Sunday, updating a blog to 1.7.4, I had this too and I dimly remembered to have had this before. Certainly it was easy to solve by changing all staticpages back to published. But there still must be a bug somewhere. And I do not really know to which fixing commit Don's 2 year old note(s) refers to.

The question is, in which concrete situation does this bug happen. It seems to not happen on every time, does it?

So, are

a) previously published static pages reverting to draft, or
b) static pages previously visible are no longer accessible because they were always draft?

BTW - as far as a prior "fix" to the plugin, that was merely an assumption on my part. I cannot point to a specific commit which solved or created the problem.

I can't say, since I took the quick solution route and started wondering afterwards.
But I really would like to know! In the b) case it would be more a "feature", than a "bug", I presume. And since it does not seem to happen very often, the latter is more plausible.
