Hi All!
I've upgraded 1.6.2 to 1.7.3 and got a blank page. In source of page I see header only, no <body> exist. I tried 1.7.0 - the same thing. I tried 1.7.3 as new installation (aside) to avoid influence of the old version and plugins- the blank page. PHP - 4.4.7. Any suggestion?
Thanks

Yepp! Upgrade you PHP! Serendipity 1.7.x needs at least PHP >= 5.2.6, better any last available PHP 5.4.x version.

Hi
Please read the blogpost for the issued version 1.7!

http://blog.s9y.org/archives/247-Serend ... eased.html
Serendipity 1.7 works properly on all PHP setups with at least PHP 5.2. Older PHP versions no longer work with Serendipity 1.7, but are definitely not recommended due to security issues, so please ask your webhoster to upgrade PHP if you are running a lower version (as long as that happens you can stick to older Serendipity versions like 1.6.2).

I see. Thanks a lot!
Maybe it will be very useful to make corresponded changes in documentation? In current version of "Fresh Installation" it's written [Serendipity requires PHP >= 4.3.0].
