Import of comments

Is there a way to import Wordpress-Comments (generic RSS) into s9y?
It's still in beta cycle but a release candidate of 0.8 should be out still this month.

Yes. Serendipity 0.8 supports native DB-based import of Wordpress Comments, Entries, Users and Categories.
It's still in beta cycle but a release candidate of 0.8 should be out still this month.

Ah, I just saw in your other posting that your DB is not accessible to your supersized hosting. Then I'm sorry, there's no other way than to somehow grant access from Serendipity to your WordPress DB.
