Hi everyone!

First things first: This is my first post on the forum. Ive been building a weblog for 10 months now, and been building web pages for eternity. I dont understand php too much, so my work is mostly guesswork and help from a buddy who is a techie.

Im looking for a plugin, or another way to paste some text into the right sidebar. I just want to post a picture and some text, nothing interactive.

The plugins ive seen contain a lot of code, and when I delete some of it most of the time it all stops working, so...

I was wondering if there is a plugin that can provide me with an area I can post some text in.

Regards, Jesper / Yinx

EDIT:
I tried the static pages plugin, cause it seemed like I could post something with that, but it can only create a static page, but not on the sidebar itself.
I want to post some text into the sidebar, non-interactive.

EDIT2:
Okey, im now editing the Sidebar.tpl from my template itself.
Basically im just pasting text there, bypassing the rest of the sidebar items. Not an ideal situation ofc.

Hi!

Best way for this is to install the "HTML nugget" plugin. It allows you to paste any HTML you want.

The sidebar.tpl way works as well, but is quite cumbersome to work with, and when you switch templates it wouldn't carry over like the plugin does :)
