Please take a look at my site. http://www.frontierliquors.info/s9y/. Really all im attempting to do is have my navigation for the static pages also work for the main page of a category. If you look at Beer Blog in my navigation sidebar and look at it under the blog sidebar you will notice a couple of differences. Can someone point me in the direction of what I need to edit to make the one under the navigation look like the one under the blog heading? I have worked my way into staticpage-entries-listing.tpl & can see how it is formatted, but I don't know what code or how to add the code to make it format properly.

Perhaps there is an easier way to have my categories list under the static page navigation, but I haven't really explored that option yet.

I am having a difficult time understanding what your objective is. My very first concern is whether or not you fully grasp the concept of static pages vs. regular entries.

Are you trying to create a regular website with static pages, and also have a blog component?

I understand the difference between dynamic and static content. I don't fully understand how serendipity works, but I did find a solution for my problem. It helps just to write it out and let is sit for a while.. I simply used the html nugget plugin and tweaked the formatting a little bit and it does what I need it to do. Thanks for your efforts and concerns.
