Hey gang,
Need some help with something.
On our production S9Y blog, we're using S9Y 1.2 and on our development server, we're using S9Y 1.4.1.
We want to export our production S9Y entries to our development S9Y blog.
What is the right way to do this and make sure that all content is copied over? (Not too concerned with plugin configuration settings... entry / category data is most important).
Thanks for reading!

Re: Importing posts from one S9Y blog to another
Hi!
Do you want that as a one-time procedure, or everytime a new entry is posted?
For one-time, s9y 1.4 (or is it 1.5?`) comes with a s9y importer that you should be able to use. MAKE A BACKUP, though.
Regards,
Garvin

Thanks for the reply, Garvin.
We already copied the posts over.
What we ended up doing was downloading S9Y 1.2 on the dev server and just copied the production database over. Seemed like the easiest way to go about things!

Hey Don,Don Chambers wrote:Why didn't you just upgrade to 1.4.1?
Wasn't sure if there were any database changes from 1.2 > 1.4.1, so we just downgraded.
Looking to upgrade both soon.
