RSS import from Wordpress

I try to import my old Wordpress-blog using "Generic RSS Import" (the database is inaccessible remotely -- resides on different host).

s9y version is the one that supersized.org uses. 0.8.something?

After that, nothing has been imported.

The RSS file is http://waszszaf.users.dtju.de/weblog/wp-rss2.php. I have a suspicion that there may be problems with the declaration of the Umlaute, but I don't really have a clue. I have tried both "UTF-8" and "ISO-8859-1".

What can I do?

We also discussed this on IRC, so just to let the others know: This is an isoloated supersized.org problem. The import works properly on plain Serendipity checkouts. We're investigating this issue.

I've been able to import my entries after making Wordpress serve Latin1-RSS.

I have those entries twice now, but that may well be just an error of using the function. Don't know.
