Login to Blog creates wrong URL

Post by mopeppers »

I have a problem with all of my installations on the Linux webserver:
when I click on "login blog" the Link leads to ..../entries.php instead of ../serendipity_entries.php. The funny thing is that it works correct on my local installation although I installed S9Y the same way...
Any idea ?

thnx,
toni

Compare the two installation if their "URL Rewriting" is the same. Set it to "NONE" if you have problems, cause the 'entries' link is only used when rewriting is enabled.

URl Rewriting

Post by Guest »

Thanks Garvin, but that unfortunately still doesn't work. I can use my blog but no anchor as none of them will write the correct URL.
e.g. if I click on "Login" the URL .../entries is created instead of .../serendipity_entries.php
I didn't find any help about which .htaccess is to be used and how I can adjust it for my use.

Thanks again....

Just enter serendipity_admin.php via Browser, enter Configuration, set "URL Rewriting" to "None".
