Where I can change template

Post by Dmitry_f »

Hi all,
I just began to use Seredipity, almost all clear, but I can't change template, at Serendipity Administration Suite, I didn't find menu item for template/style changing, checked all menu items and didn't find anything related to templates/styles.
I checked, there are several templates in templates folder.
Can you help me, where to find menu or how can I activate it?

Welcome aboard! You will find it here: Appearance -> Manage Styles.

Thanks, logically yes, it must be there, but it doesn't exist(((. What can happens that it disappears from menu?
I build sites via RVSutiBuilder can it be related to RVSB? Is it any way to change template manually?

Well, you are going to need to discuss it with them. RVSiteBuilders has modified serendipity to suit their own needs. It is essentially a custom version of serendipity. None of us here has access to it, so we cannot really help you solve the problem.

If you have FTP and database access to your website, it could be possible to directly install serendipity yourself, without using their version. Then we can help you!

Yes, I have full access to my web, but, if I install own instance, will I able to integrate it in my site, as it works now?
Or maybe more easy just to replace file in default folder?

Might help if you provide a url to your site, and your serendipity installation.
