As stated by Garvin, ..."to spread its usage", I will announce my Dashboard Plugin Development here again, to find some more testers or even helpers. Serendipity Dashboard [v.0.9.3] Development Gazette! This is a "proof of concept" Dashboard screen for the Serendipity blog backend section. All editable links, as of now, are passed to their original target, as long as this is just a an experimental welcome and information screen. It is clearly a further development of the Spartacus supported Dashboard (0.6), and works well with all its supported blocks. I named it " proof of concept", as it overlays some scripting magic over Serendipity versions up to the 1.6.x branch. With upcoming 1.7 it will need a soft rewrite to support the new Smarty3 features. This Concept development may lead us to integrate it into Serendipity Core, once we will release the new backend rewrite in Serendipity 2.0. Have fun! PS. Please note, it hasn't finished and is just a showview of its current state. This also applies to its used colors, icons and other appearances.

Not sure if you knew or not, but s9y uses the nuvola icons, which you can get here. The icons above look fine, but just thought I would post the link just in case it was wanted. I will try out the plugin next week when I have a bit more time, but the screen shots look great!

There is improvement! I am happy to announce version 0.9.8, which fixes some tweaky browser (chrome) issues, brings along various minor changes and at least now provides the overview information by user permissions. I would really be happy to hear some comments!

The proof of concept Dashboard Plugin is a javascript based Dashboard screen for the Serendipity backend. It is pretty stable and can be used without worry! I just released a bugfix 0.9.9 release, which fixes the maintenance mode super cookie to survive a browser close. I am sorry to say, this will be the last version for Serendipity <= 1.6, as I am heading to completely move the backend into dashboard views, by demand. This needs some small but important changes, which are supported by 1.7 and up only. If there are urgent further bugfixes needed for 0.9.9, I will try to support them.

The 1.7 series just got an update to Dashboard version 1.04 now. This versions tries to show some of the upcoming 2.0 template designs in the 1.7 tree, merged with the dashboard concept - Most backend pages are now able to show up and be editable in a modal view - there are just some small issues left, which will need to be done in the old backend view.
