[2.0-beta3] Media library, search - "next" doesn't work

Post by thh »

In 2.0-beta3, it's not possible to switch to the next result page when searching / filtering in the media library. If you click on "next" (the arrow pointing right), s9y will forget about your search parameters and just show you all media files.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Use the search/filter feature (the funnel ("Trichter") symbol) to search for media files, while using parameters that will return more media files than your current display limit ("
Dateien pro Seite"). Screenshot at https://www.dropbox.com/s/rxv48k2a2kzwh ... 3.png?dl=0.
  2. You'll get your first e.g. 8 results displayed, and on top and bottom of the page the number of results and result pages, e.g. "page 1 of 3, 24 entries in total" ("Seite 1 von 3, insgesamt 24 Einträge"). Screenshot at https://www.dropbox.com/s/mryqmcrxot0h5 ... 7.png?dl=0.
  3. Click on the "next" button.
  4. That should bring you to page 2 of your 24 filtered results. It will bring you to page 2 of the complete list of all your media files: "page 2 of 20, 157 entries in total" ("Seite 2 von 20, insgesamt 157 Einträge")Screenshot at https://www.dropbox.com/s/pxboa08be4x09 ... 5.png?dl=0.
If this is a "new" bug, I'd open an issue at GitHub ...

Thanks. I can reproduce this locally and yes, it is a new bug. The filter-params are not transferred anymore(?) to the next-link.

My oldest test blog has a github checkout from about June 1st running; it does not work there, either.
