Removing "index.php?" from Serendipity URLs

Post by denys-juul »

Is there a way to remove the "index.php?" bit from the URLs of my website? Or is there a plugin for it? Thanks!!

In configuration - appearance & options there is an option named 'Url rewriting'. If your server supports it (most do), you can choose 'Use Apache mod_rewrite', which from now on shows all your urls as nice urls.

Thank you for your answer Ian. That worked straight away! With other CMS I don't have such a wonderful experience. I am liking Serendipity more and more.

Cheers,
Denys
