Some readers are not able to open the extended body on my entries. I am able to open them every time. The URL is http://www.neterm.net/serendipity/ if you can take a look and let me know what might be up.

The best,

Hmm, works fine for me with Firefox.

Doesn't work with IE6. Strange thing: I've got an error message in german? Looks a bit like a server error page:
"Die Seite kann nicht angezeigt werden.
Die gewünschte Seite ist zurzeit nicht verfügbar. Möglicherweise sind technische Schwierigkeiten aufgetreten oder Sie sollten die Browsereinstellungen überprüfen."

No idea what happens here, sorry.

Regards from Germany,
Klaus

Thanks Klaus,

Seems okay in IE8 and Chrome? Anyone else have ideas or info on IE6 problems?

Using browsershots.org I can see the extended bodies are returning "Cannot open Internet Site Operation Aborted" on IE6 and IE7 but is okay on IE5 and IE8. Okay on Safari 4.0. Is this a known issue? All help is greatly appreciated.

The best,

Hi!

I think that the prototype/overlib/lightbox2/swfobject javascripts (one of them) is responsible for IE6 sometimes aborting pageload - o rit could be one of your custom javascript in the sidebars. It's a bug in IE6, IE6 is very picky about some javascript commands.

Garvin

It looks like it was lightbox2, I removed the plugin and now at least the entries open in IE6 & IE7 which did not when lightbox2 was installed. But Dag! I liked that plugin!

Thanks to all,
