[solved] serendipity_event_statistics - url bug

I just found a small bug in serendipity_event_statistics: In the statistic analysis, reachable via control panel, there is a section "Top Kommentatoren" (top commentors or annotator). If a annotator noted the link to his hompage it is shown like: Top Kommentatoren Name (Link) 94 Kommentar(...

Re: formating of definitions list

:) Just doing my job here. Thank you for beeing around. (I still have problems to understand, why the attribute max-width actually behaves as a min -width in this case. But anyway, it works!) Actually, it doesn't. The one element which ultimately determines the min-width of the dl is the dd ...

Re: formating of definitions list

Thank you Matthias! After using max-width: 60% instead of max-width: 300px I am even more satisfied. It is pretty close to perfect. I give you the title Most Valued CSS-Advisor ! (I still have problems to understand, why the attribute max-width actually behaves as a min -width in this case. But anyw...

Re: formating of definitions list

Thank you yellowled! I implemented a slightly modified version of the provided solution now in my blog . It is better than the first version, but not perfect. Now the dl-block does not scale and has a fixed width if he floats beside of the image. If the space is not wide enough, the block jumps unde...

Re: formating of definitions list

The problem is, that my definition list is already floated beside an Image. Thats why the usual way with clear the float left does not work. If somebody has an idea, I have setup the case here for online test.

Re: formating of definitions list

@Yellowled: Thank you for the advice! Unfortunately using a second dd line does not help. Now the second line always starts at the beginning. @Don Chambers: Yes, I forgot about them. I even think, there is no link to them on the surface of my blog, but anyway using .entry-content instead of .serendi...

Re: formating of definitions list

Thank you, but a <br style="clear:both"/> leads to the result, that the list continues under the images. That is not what I would like to achieve. http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/295/screenshotnormal.jpg This is the line with the manually line-break. http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/7...

formating of definitions list

Hello, I would like to get some help with css for styling a definition list (dl). In the list, DT and DD should be in one line and right beside of an image. I already solved this and used it in this example . In one DD I used a linebreak <br /> Now I have the problem, that this line does not float c...

Re: Problem with media links in Static Pages

I think this is the bug, I mentioned earlier and filed in the bugtracker.

I don't know, if this is still the same problem. Because I have several static pages with images inside, I kind of "fear" testing it again. :-)

Re: how does Karma protect?

Digging a little bit deeper, I found that many of my votings are done by bots and crawlers. I guess, the only protection against them is the use of java-script or/and a short vorting period.

how does Karma protect?

Hello, Does somebody know how karma (serendipity_event_karma) works? I was thinking, that karma places a cookie after voting to prevent multiple voting of the same person, but I have severe problems with voters who vote again and again. Maybe, the configured their browser to take the cookie first, b...

Problems with Autotitle

Hello, today, I tried to change something in my template. Because I did not see the effect immediately I deleted the content of template_c completely. After I did this, my blog did not work correctly any more and showed severe load problems with errors 500 and 503. :-( I think that serendipity_event...

Static pages title problem

Hi,
I just stumbled over a small problem in the static pages plugin:
The html-<title>-tag is generated from the field "Basic Content > Headline", but I think it should be from "Metadata > URL-Title of the Page". Am I right?

Re: www.dd4kids.de (Update)

I updated the Map in http://www.DD4Kids.de . It shows all geocoded articles of my blog (with serendipity_event_geotag) and usess now Google Api V3 (Streetview) and several other map sources (i.e. OpenStreetmap.org). The JavaScript to show the map is implended in a static page via an Iframe. (All cod...
