Re: Certain themes not working as expected with 2.0.0-beta3
I have to say that I'm using pretty non-standart setup for s9y - nginx/php-fpm on fedora 20 with postgresql as DB backend. Other than that, does 2.0 work well on that setup as far as you have tested? I'm asking because while developing 2.x, we've always (to my knowledge, I know I have) used it on m...

Re: Certain themes not working as expected with 2.0.0-beta3
I fixed the xxnav.css issue, disabled the XML-RPC plugin and renamed the admin directory to _admin. No luck unfortunately. Do those two themes (Sagghitarius and Mimbo) require specific plugins to be installed and/or configured in a particular way/order. I will also setup a clean 1.7 s9y and try inst...

Re: Certain themes not working as expected with 2.0.0-beta3
Hi, thanks for the quick response. I saw that particular error in the nginx log about the xxnav.css and did a find in s9y dir, but I couldn't find any such file. I also tried googling for it and searching the forum, but I couldn't find much meaningfull info. Could that be some style sheet that comes...

Certain themes not working as expected with 2.0.0-beta3
Hi, I'm not really sure this is the proper place to post my problem to, because first of all, I'm not really sure there is a problem, or I misconfigured something or there is just general incompatibility with 2.0 at this point, that I somehow missed. I installed 2.0.0-beta3 (btw I love the new admin...

Hi, Garvin, actually I haven't used twitter, but from what I stumbled upon while doing some research for the php of this plugin I found out that it can do some quite usefull things for me. However, what about the idea of uploading a photo from your phone and posting a short comment, idea similiar to...

Request: Microblogging plugin
I have an idea about a microblogging plugin similar to the facebook status. I can do the design of the sql table and I would probably be able to write the simple php code to insert it in s9y as a box and display the status in it, but unfortunately I lack the knowledge to do it properly and the way I...

Hi Judebert, I finally found the problem. It is in my current install. Here is the problem, and it is indeed css issue. I took a closer look at all the css that are loaded in the side, with and without the plugin. My approach was not the best of all, but hey, I'm a sysadmin, I like quick and dirty s...

Hi, so it was css not loaded, I suspected that something was not loaded but I thought it was javascript, anyway. I wonder, however, am I the only one with such a problem, what I mean is could this be because of some combo of plugins or probably because I use postgre, cause no one else reported probl...

Hi Judebert, if adding a 1px border fixes the issue with the white line in the header, does it also fix the issue with the links that get purple (in my case, because of the purple color theme) border, and the fact that basically everything gets aligned to the left. Also the grey box under the pics d...

Hello Judebert, I tried doing what you suggested, however, it seems the learning curve is too steep for me, and besides, even if I was able to find my way around FireBug, I wouldn't know what I'm looking for either. So you should have access now :), check your PMs. As far as it comes to loging out, ...

Hi again, so here is what is going on, after Garvin commit the changes. I didn't want to wait for spartacus and checked out the latest source, so my plugin is now bumped to 0.31. I removed my table from the database, and now the proper table is created in postgres. It seems that everything works as ...

Hi Garvin, nice to finally meet (well kind of ;) ) the man! You are indeed right. The tinyint is what causes all the problems. Postgres sees the value of 1 and decides that the type should be boolean, which seems quite logical in my opinion. I do not remember what types does mysql support but I thin...

Properties/Templates of Categories Plugin not working
Hello. I am fairly recent user of s9y but I already love it. I installed the properties/templates of categories plugin on my blog couple of times and then removed it, because I didn't really need it and because it messed up with the rss feeds of the blog - after installing it, all the rss feeds stop...
