I've switch the setting to a log file for now.
Is it safe to delete the contents of serendipity_spamblocklog using phpmyadmin ?
And when the log file is too big is it sage to delete it out using my ftp client ?

Sorry, not having much luck with this. I've checked the sql dump from myadmin and I've found the absolute paths in the tables you mention.
