Re: Upgraded from PHP 4.4.9 to 5.2.17, S9y 1.5.2 not upgradi
So . . . it turns out my webhost did a full migration of a bunch of servers which included new database servers and new host names for FTP servers. Apparently I was uploading to the old servers which were no longer serving my domain. Thanks for helping me with this trouble shooting and sorry for bei...

Re: Upgraded from PHP 4.4.9 to 5.2.17, S9y 1.5.2 not upgradi
Sorry . . . I changed it back to the original setting but have changed it back again to the current physical path. I removed what was on line 23 of content.php (it was calling menu.htm . . . used to be a menu bar tacked on below the blog) but the error still seems to be showing up for some reason. I...

Re: Upgraded from PHP 4.4.9 to 5.2.17, S9y 1.5.2 not upgradi
Ian, Thank you for your response. =) It appears as though my physical path was changed from /hsphere/local/home/klyment/klyment.com/serendipity/ to /hsphere/local/home/klyment0/klyment.com/serendipity/. I updated the serendipityPath variable in the serendipity_config table with the new path but am s...

Upgraded from PHP 4.4.9 to 5.2.17, S9y 1.5.2 not upgrading?
Hello, My webhost recently upgraded from PHP version 4.4.9 to 5.2.17 and my S9y 1.5.2 install is now dysfunctional. I see mention in the installation notes about needing to be on S9y 1.5.5 or later. I attempted to do an upgrade to V 1.6 after backing up my database and then expanding the contents of...

Re: RSS 2.0 "namespace not defined" error
Updating the geotag plugin seemed to have fixed the problem. Thank you. =)

Re: RSS 2.0 "namespace not defined" error
Also, just noticed that you're in Cologne. I'm making my biennial pilgrimage to your city end of September for Photokina. If you happen to to be in town the Kölsch is on me. =) Serendipity has allowed me to share information about my finds at the trade fair that no other blogs or news services seem ...

RSS 2.0 "namespace not defined" error
Hello, my fellow Serendipity users. =) My blog has been running virtually problem-free for the past five years. I just noticed that my RSS 2.0 feed is generating an error and has prevented blog import for a couple of services I have tried. The error reads: error on line 49 at column 29: Namespace pr...

Include error?
Hello. =) My website was being hosted on some servers in Kentucky. Shortly after the tornados struck Serendipity and Gallery2 no longer function correctly. I sense that this host, IX Webhosting, isn't very reliable. I am searching for a new host but in the meantime is there something that I could re...
