I am also on GitHub - "fugazza" again - and ready to commit new translations.

Re: Spartacus: Character encoding bug in package_event.xml
Hi Garvin,
I see there is no progress yet. I modified the emerge_spartacus.php script to use utf-8 language files for generation on .xml files. This should work correctly. Could you try it?
Regards,
Vlad

Re: Spartacus: Character encoding bug in package_event.xml
Hi Garvin, Maybe you have an idea what the script does wrong? Yeas, I have:-) I looked a little on emerge_spartacus.php. The root of it would be that the build-process uses the "local" version of a language, and then later encodes it to UTF-8. Maybe what would help is to instead always loa...

Spartacus: Character encoding bug in package_event.xml
Hi, I observe behavior of plugin listing and installation which in my opinion is false. how to reproduce the bug: - set language as czech (cs - utf-8) - admin section -> plugin configuration -> install new sidebar plugins - see for example Recaptcha plugin (serendipity_event_recaptcha). Important: y...

Re: Czech translations for some plugins
Yes, it does very much. It's serious bug. I already fixed it, the most up to date version of translation app will never do that. Now you must manually find all plugins with error like that and re-save them.konus wrote:Question to the php-gurus: Does it matter?

Re: Czech translations for some plugins
Hi Konus, in your error logs there are some messages, that certain files cannot be downloaded. In fact there is no chance how to know, whether local (eg. german) language file exist. So the app simply tries to download it and if it does not exist, it throws en error. So there is nothing suspicious i...

Re: Translation tool
OK, Konus,
I am still not able to reproduce your error. I added a function to write error logs into file. So please download latest version (from http://vlada.ajgl.cz/archives/170-Seren ... lator.html), run it and send me the "error.log" file. I hope we will see more

Re: Translation tool
Hi Konus, OK, we will fix it. First we will make sure that you are using latest version of translation tool, which is 1.3 (Help -> About Serendipity Translator). If not, download latest version from http://vlada.ajgl.cz/archives/170-Serendipity-Translator.html. I expect this is not the problem. Then...

Re: portuguese translation offered as thanks
Hi, I add that there is a translation tool for serendipity and all its plugins. It manages all the stuff around encoding automatically so you don't need to bother with it. You can download it from http://php-blog.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/*checkout*/php-blog/additional_plugins/SerendipityTranslator...

Re: Czech translations for some plugins
Hi Konus, it's great that it works :-) I am unable to download the german lang-files of all "non intern" plugins and templates. As result, the programm thinks that erverything has to be translated. Hmmhmmm, it sounds strange to me. It sounds like an error on server with external plugins. I...

Re: Czech translations for some plugins
Hi, ... New translators seem to usually only look at the bottom of the file what is left untranslated... -> Garvin: It sounds for me that there is a practise to insert english lines at the bottom of translated file. I am surprised a bit, I thought that in the translated file there should be only tra...

Re: Czech translations for some plugins
Hi Conus, first sorry for waiting so long for my response. I have new job and it is little bit exhausting, I have sadly not much time for s9y:-( Ordering of translated file: It is determined by order of keys in language file. I am thinking about ordering, how to make it the best way. Because I see t...
