Oh, I agree; AJAX can be a pain in the neck; at my work we have deloped a complete CMS in AJAX and browser compatibility is a pain in the neck... Let me also refrase my initial AJAX remark: the use of an iframe can sometimes achieve the same effect... What I meant was: if you look at some plugins, i...

Oh, this is something I have been wanting to ask a long time as well... A lot of plugins (this one also) show information in a rather "static" way. What I mean with that is that, unless you reload a page, the information is not refreshed. In this day and age however, we have something wond...

That's a good suggestion, I just committed the adding of a link (to the name of the current song) as well as to allow the plugin to be installed multiple times.

Best regards,
Garvin
Sounds good! Does that mean that when I check SPARTACUS there is going to be a new version of the plugin?

Shoutcast plugin John Mann; version: 1.04

Hi, I was just thinking: I have the shoutcast plugin and it points to my own radio station and it shows stats and all, but there is 1 very important thing missing: The plugin should also have a link to the stream! Why not have that option? I suggest that you can click on the name of the station (tit...

Using html or markup in blog description?

Hi,

Is there a way to use html or standard markup in the blog description? Or even maybe the blogtitle?

I want to use <strike></strike> and/or other tags in it...

Thanks for any replies...

Can someone kindly take the time to explain what this plug-in is/does and why it would be handy?

Most plugins start out by describing things like: "I wanted a guestbook with antispam plugin so I developed one because it did not existed yet."

I have looked into the plugin and seen that it uses a Linux script called backup.sh that gets some variables from PHP. So I am sure that things like what version OS (Red Hat or Debian) and what shell (BASH) you use will have an influence too? Also, I was wondering if this is not a VERY insecure way ...

Re: Problem with guestbook plugin

Hi! Uh, but the link to my guestbook, which is: http://zion.demon.nl/index.php?serendipity[subpage]=guestbook does work? Yes, but that was not the link you gave - the subpage-link one is right, but the plugin should not use a delete link formatted like the one you gave, I consider this to be a bug....

Re: Problem with guestbook plugin

Hi! Okay, that URL is wrong. Because of URL rewriting the URL would instead need to read: http://zion.demon.nl/index.php?/guestbook&noclean=true&serendipity[adminAction]=guestbookdelete&serendipity[page]=1&serendipity[id]=16 or something like that. Because "guestbook" is n...
