Re: Feature request: native image galleries

Re: Initial configuration for commenting and spam management

Yes, reviewing comments before can be posted, you can set comments to be moderated. What s9y can't (as far as I know) is announcing new entries via mail. But there is of course an RSS-feed which one could use to implement such a functionality with an external service. See, smart features! Moderatio...

Re: Links not including the "http://www."

Hi Yellowled, Thanks for the response and info. As for the hosting company.....hmmmm, really? I actually got the recommendation from another "forum friend" who said he had a good experience. Different forum though and not working with Serendipity. Not sure if that is maybe why. But anyway,...

Re: Initial configuration for commenting and spam management

Having an email opt-in option for a blog is a good idea in general. Not only to reduce spam threats, but having people subscribe to your blog helps for you to secure repeat traffic and build a loyal readership. Re: Serendipity around the world

I attempted to walk in and pretty much got laughed out of the door. And ther...

Re: Feedback wanted: Features section of new website

I'm sure this post is coming way too late, but I think 1 is better. 2 is too crowded and overwhelming. 1 is cleaner and seems easier to consume and navigate.

Re: General Introduction Thread

Hi Garvin,

I haven't really done anything with Serendipity yet. I was focused on HTML coding first, now I am trying my hand at PHP. Looking forward to the experience.

General Introduction Thread

Hello all,

I didn't see one, so decided to start an introduction thread. If I have somehow just overlooked it, feel free to move this to the appropriate thread.

My name is Michael. I am dabbling in web design, learning things on my own. Here to get and give advice as best as I can.
