Hi Stephan, great work! I'm impressed by the smooth integration of static pages with news posts. This is good news, because I'm also working on a site with heavy use of static pages. The theme is very clean and the used graphical elements fit very good to the layout. Maybe you can make the illustrat...

Hi Garvin, the "{{" syntax is used twice, indeed, and the config option is a good proposal. But in StaticPages, they also do not work on the "((" and "[[" syntax when both plugins are active. It would be great if it's possible to fix this in any way. Best Regards, Robert

Hello Judebert! Thank you for your thoughts - they made me come much closer to the actual problem. I have been testing on how I get the search-results to interpret the SmartyTags and on how to change the config for this site: It seemd pretty complex to me. But then I found a very cheap (I hope not t...

Smarty Parsing + Wiki links in static pages

Hmm... the combination of Smarty Parsing and Wiki links does not work in static pages but it does work in the normal entries.

Both Smarty Parsing and Wiki links do work in static pages, if they are used individually. But I need them simultaneously.

Any ideas how to fix that?

Best Regards,

Robert

Hello Garvin, thanks for your answear! I have searched the s9y .php files for the $serendipity['view'] variable and found it in the index.php. But I have to admit that I did not yet recognize what I have to do with the variable and where to find the smarty {$view} thing. I'd be grateful for another ...

Hello Judebert, thank you for adding the little suggestions! :) The text-input field indeed appears twice. You just forgot a litte "break" after the switch-fields: case 'numquotes': $propbag->add('type', 'string'); $propbag->add('name', 'Number of Quotes to Display'); $propbag->add('descri...

$numquotes = sizeof($quotes_array); This would mean that the plugin always displays all quotes you added in the backoffice and ignores the option to configure the number of quotes. I think the problem is, that the function array_rand() returns an integer instead of an array when "$numquotes&qu...

SmartyTags in Searchresults

Hello, I'm using Smarty-Tags that I defined by myself in the config.php.inc directly in the content-area of my StaticPages (thus not in the .tpl file). This works fine. But if I am searching for this page with the search form, it displays the Smarty-Tags simply as code "{my_smarty_tag}". I...

Hi, there is a comfortable plugin for Serendipity called "Random Quotes". It allows you to enter a few quotes that appear in the sidebar and change on each refresh of the site. You can modify this plugin in a way that it also interpretes HTML code. You just need to strip off the "html...
